COVID - 19 Policy 4th November 2020
COVID -19.. National Lock Down.. What are we doing?
With England going into a one month lock down from November 5th we have decided to make some changes to how we have been operating at the Roastery since restrictions were eased.
This post with outline how we are operating primarily to keep our team safe and healthy while delivering the quality and service we pride ourselves on. We value every coffee shop, farmer, importer, exporter, restaurant, bakery, hotel and roasteries working during these times and your support in keeping independent businesses going is key to survival.
If you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.
Webstore Customers
----
Our new packing fits through most letterboxes, so if you order one or two bags there should be no need to take a trip to the sorting office.
We are currently roasting and dispatching orders 5 days a week as per our usual roast policy.
UK customers 2 bags or more has free shipping via Royal Mail (who are operating)
Royal mail are running a little bit behind, if you have waited more than 5 days for your order please contact us via email or instagram
We also ship via DPD (who are operating) this does not mean you will receive your order next day from place of order but from when we dispatch
--
EU customers we are shipping via Royal Mail however there could be delays when this reaches your country of origin.
We have dropped the price on our UPS tracked 2-5 day service to £15. This is a flat rate for up to 20KG and is only a little more than tracked service via the postal service (UPS are operating)
We also offer a range of home brewing equipment should you end up needed to set up your home office.
Wholesale Customers
----
Business as usual.
Our supply chain is secure, we have good levels of stock and a solid range of seasonal coffees for you to serve.
Our thoughts are with you and you can speak to us anytime we are here for you.
Roasting is as usual 5 days a week.
Walk in Customers and Business Meetings
----
As of Thursday 05th of November all face to face visits will cease, this includes collections from the roastery.
In line with the government advice we urge you at this moment to please order your coffees via the webstore, at the Bath Farmers Market or purchase in a local cafe.
The protection of our teams health is key during this period and we hope you understand this tough decision.
Wholesale meetings in the roastery will also cease during this period and will be carried out through phone calls, emails, facetime, skype... what ever works :)
Local deliveries will also continue
Farmers Market & Local Customers
----
The farmers market is still going and will be open every Saturday 9am-12:30pm
We will not be offering a click and collect service and we kindly ask still for card payments only.
London Pop up Coffee Bar
----
It is with deep regret that we have had to close the store in London. Carnaby Street has been asked to close due to the area being non essential retail based businesses.
We will aim to re-open December 02 2020
The Roastery
----
We have split the team in two. Only production members of staff are going to the roastery, administrative roles are now being carried out at home.
We are sanitising all work areas throughout the day as per usual
Hand washing throughout the day.
There is no team contact (no handshakes or high fives)
We are not cupping coffees together.
Quality control and new coffee selection is being made individually.
Any team member who shows signs of Covid - 19 will be sent home to self isolate in line with world health organisation time periods with sickness pay.
----
Much Love and thank you for all your support during these times
X
