The Forever Friends Appeal... what are we doing?
During these uncertain times we decided that thinking and acting positive is needed more than ever. We spoke with our engineer Kit who asked if he could have some coffee for our local hospital the Royal United Hospital. We of course said yes! Then after sending a few kilos we though what more can we do? Browsing through instagram we saw a link from Ed Jackson a rugby player and customer of ours. He has done lots of work raising money for the hospital who helped him through his recovery. A quick DM to him and we were speaking to Katie. A plan and a result all in the space of a few hours :)
What we are doing?
We are going to stop regular production on Thursday morning so we can roast and pack 100 bags of coffee which we will donate to the Forever Friends Appeal .
These bags will be packed into care packages for hospital workers. We hope it will give them a few extra moments peace during what is a desperately busy time for them. Our working lives have changed theirs have only got even more busy and more risky.
We will continue to donate coffee to the RUH (Royal United Hospital) and to other Hospitals as often as we can.
We would kindly ask that if you can spare a donation also that would be very kind.
