Our London Pop-up Store
In September this year, in collaboration with our close friends Wax London, a premium menswear brand, we opened a pop-up shop on Newburgh Street, just off Carnaby Street, London. The shop is in a really cosy spot; a lot of that area is really busy and can feel quite hectic with Oxford Street just around the corner. The pop up, however, is in a really quiet relaxed corner of Soho. It’s the perfect spot for us as we wanted to create a relaxed space to showcase what we do, rather than a super busy, high volume café. We like to think we’ve achieved a balance where people come in, look at these lovely clothes, have really tasty coffee and unwind a bit.
Stephanie Neceva and Thomas Holmes, the founders of Wax London are close friends with Eddie who founded Round Hill (Eddie and Tom grew up together) and they set up their businesses at similar times. Naturally they discussed issues their respective industries faced, whether that be marketing, growing a sustainable company or simply being good employers. As well as comparing notes, Eddie pretty much exclusively wears Wax clothes sent to him by Stephanie and Thomas and they pretty much only drink Round Hill coffee, but more than that, they have always endeavoured to collaborate. Wax published a piece on Round Hill in their journal and they have always looked for opportunities to collaborate further, but like most ideas between friends they never quite came off. This year, however, Wax were presented with the opportunity to take up a temporary residence in Soho and quickly asked us about the feasibility of doing coffee in the store. Within about fifteen minutes of the idea coming up we’d agreed to go for it.
We’re not sure exactly how long we’ll be open in this cosy little spot but we’re enjoying it while we are, if you live in London or find yourself there please do come in for a coffee and say hi.
We are open Wednesay to Sunday 10am - 5pm
