When can I expect my delivery?
The cut-off time for orders is 8am; orders placed after this time will be prepared and shipped the next working day. Orders placed on Friday will be shipped the following Monday. Our standard shipping service within the UK is through Royal Mail's 48-hour tracked service, which can take 3-5 working days. We also offer a 24-hour tracked service and a next working day service through DPD. Please note that the delivery times are calculated from the point of dispatch, not the point of order. Orders up to two 250 gram bags should fit through a standard UK letterbox.

Can I come to the roastery to buy coffee beans?
You absolutely can! We offer collections on Fridays. We do ask that you preorder - give us a call or an email with what you would like.
-
What's the difference between your blue and pink bags?
We offer 2 different roast profiles - espresso (pink bags) and filter (blue bags). We try to keep the filter roasts lighter, to preserve the delicate flavours and acidity complemented by filter brewing, and roast slightly hotter for espresso brewing to bring out deeper flavours and body. Our filter roast is ideal for any filter brewing (drip filters, Aeropress, french press, batch brewers...), and our espresso roast is great for stovetops and home espresso brewing.
-
When was my coffee roasted?
We dispatch coffee that has been roasted within one week of your order being received.
-
How should I store my coffee?
In a sealed container, away from sunlight - our retail bags are designed to be the perfect home for your beans! We do not recommend storing them in the fridge, as beans will absorb moisture and can taint easily. For long-term storage, you can keep them in the freezer as long as they are in a completely sealed container.
-
Can I drink my coffee straight away?
We suggest resting your coffee for at least 7 days after roast date for filter and 10 days for our espressos. During the roasting process, carbon dioxide gets trapped inside the coffee beans. This trapped gas will slowly escape over time, but if you brew coffee too quickly after roasting, this gas can have an adverse effect on extraction and taste.
-
Is your coffee certified organic?
Most of our coffees are grown using organic practices, but the cost and demands of this certification essentially excludes many coffee farmers. If you would like more detailed information about a specific coffee, get in touch.

How do I recycle your bags?
Check if your local council offers kerbside collection for soft plastics, or take them to a supermarket collection point. Our packaging is made by Dutch Coffee Pack, who offset all their carbon, and have developed monomaterial, aluminium free coffee bags.
